EstateGuru is reporting that since January 2020 the investment crowdfunding platform has signed-up 12,952 new investors from 111 different countries. These investors are sufficient for the company to surpass 50,000 investors. Estonia based EstateGuru states that many of the new investors are based in Germany. As it stands today, German investors number 12,454 topping the number of investors based in EstateGuru’s home country at 12,237.
Following these Germany and Estonia are Lithuania, Latvia, Italy, Spain, Austria, and investors from 104 other countries.
Additionally, EstateGuru says that over €15 million in interest payments has been paid out since platform launch.
Marek Pärtel, Co-Founder and CEO of EstateGuru, said that the platform’s investment volumes have almost returned to pre-crisis levels and the deepest curve of the crisis appears to be over:
“… all over Europe, people tend to focus on saving and it’s quite probable that we will never go back to the consumption levels we used to have before the crisis,” predicted Pärtel. “These sharp rises in savings suggest that consumers’ thrift could hinder [the] chances of a consumption-driven recovery. At EstateGuru we see this as a major opportunity, as people need savings and stable investment solutions with higher interest rates than 1-3%.”
Pärtel added that the ongoing Seedrs funding campaign is proof of the value EstateGuru is creating.
“We have one week to go and we’ve surpassed our minimum campaign target by 203% thanks to 920 investors from 35 countries.”
