Overfunding: Online Grocer Good Club Surpasses £600,000 Through Crowdcube Funding Round

Good Club, a UK-based online grocer, has successfully secured its initial £600,000 equity crowdfunding target on Crowdcube. Founded in 2019, Good Club is on a mission to make sustainable household staples accessible to everyone.

“We do this by making such products (both food and non-food) affordable (we estimate that our prices are 20% to 30% less than the competition) as part of a convenient service that provides a full range – a one-stop-shop – of sustainable household staples (4,000 products).”

Good Club also reported that it developed and tested its process and its prototype packaging to facilitate the closed-loop, and it has built and tested the front end experience with trial customers.

“We’ve also carried out Life Cycle Analysis of the proposed process, to ensure the process provides a more sustainable service.”

Good Club is now offering 14.52% in equity at a £4 million pre-money valuation. Funds from the Crowdcube round will be used to continue the development of Good Club’s products. The campaign is set to close at the end of July.
