Ontology (ONT), a high-performance blockchain platform focused on digital identity solutions, is teaming up with 4EVERLAND, a Web 3.0 Cloud computing platform supporting global acceleration of digital tech, privacy protection, distributed storage and various other technical features to enable the transition to Web 3.0.
As mentioned in a blog post, 4EVERLAND will offer DWeb Hosting services to the Ontology ecosystem apps, further enhancing data uploading, downloading, visit and various other Cloud computing services.
To get things started, Ontology’s main website, ont.io, has become “fully decentralized” using 4EVERLAND’s DWeb hosting services. Decentralization of ont.io will “facilitate greater security, transparency, and traceability, whilst further improving data processing,” according to the announcement.
As mentioned in the update:
“In moving towards the Web 3.0 era, Ontology strives to provide trusted access to Web 3.0 via its decentralized identity and data solutions. By partnering with 4EVERLAND, utilizing its distributed, highly efficient data hosting gateway, together with Ontology’s decentralized identity and data solutions, we are building the Web 3.0 infrastructure of tomorrow.”
Li Jun, Founder of Ontology, noted that Web 3.0 is a major leap forward for “the future of the Internet.” Ontology and 4EVERLAND “share a common mission in facilitating the construction and adoption of Web 3.0 solutions,” Jun added.
He also mentioned that Web 3.0 infrastructure continues “to evolve and grow and we are excited to be partnering with 4EVERLAND to get us closer to realizing the potential of Web 3.0.”
Deon, Co-Founder of 4EVERLAND, stated that they’re pleased to be working with Ontology to “help move the world closer to Web 3.0.”
Deon added that the Internet “needs Web 3.0” and that they “hope that we can liberate Web 3.0 developers from the constraints of centralization by providing a globally accelerated, ever-lasting network service for users.”
As mentioned in the update, 4EVERLAND is a Web 3.0 Cloud computing platform “with global acceleration, privacy protection, distributed storage and other technical features.” Based on IPFS and the underlying technology of Ethereum, 4EVERLAND is “committed to providing a distributed, highly efficient, self-motivated, and low-cost data hosting gateway, and becoming the infrastructure for millions of Web3.0 developers and applications.”
As previously reported, Ontology is developing the infrastructure to offer “trusted access to Web 3.0, allowing individuals and enterprises to rest assured that through regulatory compliant digital identity solutions, users and their privacy come first.”
