ICICI Bank, a privately-owned Indian development finance institution with its registered office in Vadodara, Gujarat, and corporate office in Mumbai, Maharashtra, reveals that it has enabled its savings account clients to pay and manage credit cards bills at any bank by using the Bank’s mobile app, called “iMobile Pay.”
The clients are able to add credit cards of any banking platform to the app within seconds and then pay and manage their dues via the same app. It provides greater convenience to clients, who might be using several different credit cards. Customers will now be able to use a one-stop solution for managing all their payments cards.
The newly-introduced feature aims to remove the hassle of having to go to multiple sites in order to settle outstanding payments. Clients may also set bill payment reminders, review their payment history for all cards, share payment confirmation via WhatsApp, and manage and change due dates as needed.

This new feature on the Bank’s state-of-the-art mobile banking app is a testimony of this endeavour. With a large section of customers using multiple cards for their various needs, this new solution aims to help them decongest the process of their credit card bill payments. It offers them the convenience of a one-stop payment solution for all their credit cards on one platform, and saves them the hassle of juggling between multiple portals for payments.”
Here’s how clients may access the new features:
- Login to iMobile Pay and select ‘Cards and Forex’ section
- Go to ‘Other Bank Credit Card’
- Tap on ‘Add a card’ and enter the required details
- Authenticate the OTP sent on the registered mobile number and card will be added instantly
- Once the card is added, it can be viewed and managed under the “Other Bank Credit Card” tab
‘iMobile Pay’ is the bank’s mobile banking app that provides more than 350 services. The Bank has updated the app, previously called ‘iMobile’, in December 2020, in order to provide payments and banking solutions to clients of any bank in India.
This initiative offers the convenience of interoperability, as it allows clients of any Indian bank to connect their account to the app and begin making payments digitally. It also provides access to an various ICICI Bank services such as savings accounts, home loans, credit cards, and personal loans.
