Austrian Fintech Bitpanda and France’s Super App Lydia to Offer Clients Access to Crypto-Assets

Austrian Fintech firm Bitpanda and France’s mobile financial services Super-App provider, Lydia, are teaming up to provide Lydia’s 5.5 million clients with access to investing in crypto-assets.

Lydia will reportedly be using Bitpanda’s white-label solution, which is an API-powered infrastructure that allows Fintech platforms and traditional banks to give their clients 24/7 access to various investing options.

Established in 2014 as a digital currency trading firm, Bitpanda has evolved over the years into an established investment platform providing investors with the chance to invest in an extensive range of assets, including cryptocurrencies, stocks, exchange-traded funds or ETFs, and even precious metals.

Bitpanda has entered the B2B2C sector by introducing its white-label solution, which allows Fintech companies, traditional banks and online platforms to give their clients convenient access to trading. These services are compliant and secure and offer an appealing look and feel of their brand.

Bitpanda’s service has now been completely integrated with Lydia’s super-app, and transactions are carried out through Bitpanda. More than 5 million Lydia clients will have the opportunity to invest in a range of crypto-assets ranging from virtual currencies to commission-free fractional stocks, including the CAC40, ETFs, and precious metals – starting from as low as 1€.

Eric Demuth, Bitpanda Co-founder and CEO, stated:

“At Bitpanda, we are firm believers in the innovative power of digital assets and blockchain technology. Our goal is to reimagine what it means to invest, by making simple, easy-to-use financial products for everyone. This is why we are delighted to partner with Lydia to offer a state-of-the-art trading experience to Lydia’s users through the Bitpanda White Label Solution. We are confident that this is just the beginning: we are committed to offering everyone investment options for any budget and risk appetite, at the tap of a button.”

Cyril Chiche, CEO and Co-founder of Lydia, remarked:

“With Lydia trading, our ambition is to widen access to investment assets, to make it accessible to everyone whether they are simply curious, beginner investors or experts. Our users get to choose what their money finances, contrary to the traditional bank system. We are the first on the French market to provide such an extensive range of digital assets.”
