Digital currency investment firm Grayscale has updated its list of assets under consideration, and some of the new entrants are Bancor, BitTorrent, Decred, Elrond, and Oasis Network.
Such assets are not currently included in a Grayscale investment product, bit could be in the future, the firm said in a blog post dated Jan. 24. The cryptocurrencies have garnered Grayscale’s attention. They join such coins as Avalanche, Monero, Polygon, Polkadot and Tezos on the possibilities page.
One new cryptocurrency joins the list of ones currently in Grayscale investment products. Amp (AMP) joins a list including Aave (AAVE), Bitcoin (BTC), Cardano (ADA), Decentraland (MANA), Ethereum (ETH), Filecoin (FIL), Litecoin (LTC) and Solana (SOL).
Plenty of thought goes into the process of making additions to these lists, Grayscale said in a message on its website.
“The process… requires significant review and consideration and is subject to our internal controls, custody arrangements, and regulatory considerations, among other things. As a reminder, this list is for illustrative purposes only. Not every asset under consideration will be turned into one of our investment products and Grayscale may explore additional assets other than those included in the Assets Under Consideration table for inclusion in Grayscale Products. Similarly, assets could be included in the Grayscale Product family without first being listed on this table.”
