Draper Goren Holm, a VC group that is focused on blockchain technologies including DeFi and digital assets – including securities, is returning to an in-person gathering in 2022 as COVID shutdowns diminish.
This coming May, DGH will bring together noted crypto investors Tim Draper, Anthony Scaramucci, and many others, for its 4th Annual Security Token Summit taking place in New York City this year (and not LA).
The Security Token Summit is considered a top security token and digital asset event for this sector of Fintech that is poised to grow at an accelerating pace.
DGH founding partner Josef Holm said the list of speakers sets a high bar for this year’s event:
“… given the intimate setting of the venue, attendees and sponsors will have unprecedented access to one another to dig deep into those conversations that need to be had in order to advance the discussion surrounding digital securities forward.”
Security tokens, or digital securities, have been predicted to usurp its more analog iterations for years now. Yet like many innovations, adoption has not always kept pace with expectations. Today, there are growing indicators that digital securities are at an inflection point. The approval of BSTX as a blockchain-enhanced stock exchange, a growing number of issuers both large and small that are issuing digital securities foreshadows a broader transition. The Summit will address this ongoing transition at the heart of the financial services – New York City.
While speaker names are still be added, Tim Draper and Anthony Scaramucci will be joined by names like Congressional Blockchain Caucus Chair, Tom Emmer, Former Acting Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Treasury under the George W. Bush administration, Greg Zerzan and more.
