C6 Bank has announced that it recently added new equity investment options to its C6 Invest platform.
From now on, clients who were already able to trade mini dollar and index (Ibovespa) contracts since August last year “can also trade full futures contracts on the C6 Bank application.”
Accessing the variable income area within C6 Invest , the client can “send buy and sell orders, at the market or with the defined price, and also configure levels to limit losses.”
The settlement of futures contract operations “is daily and the adjustment of both profits and losses is carried out automatically in a current account.”
Igor Rongel, head of investments at C6 Bank, said:
“The inclusion of the offer of dollar and index futures contracts at C6 Invest is part of our strategy to have a complete investment platform within the bank’s application in which the client already receives a salary, makes Pix, pays slips, monitors the invoice credit card and much more. It’s a bank and broker in a single app.”
The bank does “not charge a brokerage fee to trade futures contracts and allows day trade and swing trade operations.”
You can trade futures contracts “at any time throughout the trading period, which is from 9:00 am to 5:55 pm for index contracts and from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm for dollar contracts.”
These hours “may vary, depending on how B3 operates.”
Details and rules for trading can be “found on the C6 Bank app, in the “C6 Invest” section . Just select the option ‘Variable Income’ and then search the filter for ‘Futures Contracts’.”
C6 Bank has been “expanding the product offering on its investment platform, with options for all types of clients.”
As it involves high risk operations with high volatility, futures contracts “are indicated for experienced investors.”
Typically, futures contracts are “used to hedge against price changes or for speculation and allow trading on the future expectations of a particular asset.”
The main advantage of this type of investment is that the investor “can operate leveraged, that is, it offers a lower guarantee than the value placed in the futures contract.”
If the investor has a negative result with the operation, “the value of the guarantee is used to minimize losses.”
If it has a positive result, “the amount is released normally.”
In addition to them, through C6 Invest’s home broker “it is also possible to trade shares, ETFs, BDRs and FIIs.”
C6 Bank ‘s investment platform also “offers more than 250 funds in different categories (multimarket, variable income, fixed income, foreign exchange and crypto), private pension and fixed income options, with CDBs that allow you to start investing with just R$20.”
Within the bank’s application, the client can also “open a Global Investment Account, which gives access to assets from around the world, and create personalized portfolios with C6 TechInvest, a service that uses technology to help the client diversify their investments with assets from the Brazil and abroad.”
With BRL 1,000, it is now possible “to create a portfolio comprising the Ibovespa, S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, US Treasury, papers linked to Brazilian inflation and fixed interest rates, in addition to silver and gold.”
