Hashgraph Association Funds First Round of Projects for Innovation Program

The Hashgraph Association has announced the funding of its first round of projects for its innovation program. Based in Switzerland, the Hashgraph Foundation aims to accelerate the adoption of its distributed ledger technology.  Hashgraph states there are three cohorts of 12 projects each which will receive funding. Participating projects will be developing solutions in Fintech, Insurtech, Greentech, Agritech, Sportstech, Mediatech, DeFi, Stablecoins, Web 3.0, Gaming, Metaverse, NFTs, DAOs, and Tokenization.

The Hashgraph Innovation Program is offered in close collaboration with the Swiss Digital Assets Institute (SDAI).

Hedera Hashgraph is a blockchain tech that is high-performance, providing an enterprise-ready environment for distributed services.

Hashgraph will provide funding of up to $ 250,000 for startups, $750,000 for enterprises, and up to $ 1,500,000, all designed to encourage mainstream adoption of the Hedera network around the globe.

Kamal Youssefi, President of The Hashgraph Association, commented:

Youssefi added that they are seeing a “steady cadence” of interest for adoption.

Stefan Deiss, Director of Swiss Digital Assets Institute (SDAI), said the first group is which they now look forward to empowering through the Hashgraph Innovation Program to develop enterprise-grade solutions on the Hedera network.

Applications are open for participation in future cohorts of the Hashgraph Innovation Program.
