Gaming Platform Aliyoop Teams Up with Adyen to Bring Quick Payments to Gamers

Adyen (ADYEN:AMS), global financial technology platform for many of the world’s leading businesses, today announces that it has partnered with Aliyoop, the platform that enables gaming companies to engage and retain players for purchases across channels.

The partnership will “help Aliyoop to offer smooth, global payments coverage for small high-volume transactions.”

Creating a seamless experience for gamers is “central to Aliyoop’s vision.”

The payments process “must be frictionless and not disrupt gameplay and there is no room for lag between making a purchase and it being available for players to use.” Aliyoop needed a partner that could “meet its vision for a seamless experience and selected Adyen because of its reputation in the payment space.”

Not only does Adyen’s technology streamline payments and improve customer experience, it offers “the necessary technical support to ensure everything runs smoothly for Aliyoop as well.”

Furthermore, to boost the experience of the international gamer community, Adyen makes it easy “to offer all major local payment methods, so it’s easy for gamers to pay, no matter where they’re based.”

Changes in the App Store and Google Play “mean gaming companies can now offer out-of-app game purchases withmuch lower transaction fees.” This makes it even more important for game developers “to engage with players through a variety of different channels outside of their games, such as: email; in-app chat; Apple Messages For Business; Facebook Messenger; Instagram DM; Whatsapp and many more.”

Aliyoop’s solution “establishes a channel to reach players with targeted offers (featuring real-time segmentation) and handles the entire process, including sales tax.”

While Aliyoop’s customers have already benefitted from Aliyoop’s out-of-app processes thanks to the new partnership with Adyen, transactions are quickly “screened for validity to ensure a seamless purchasing process, without disrupting the gaming experience.”

Colin Neil, Managing Director, Adyen UK, said:

“In gaming, speed is everything. Which is why it’s critical payments are processed seamlessly. It is also, by its nature, a global proposition since you have potential gamers literally anywhere with an internet connection. We’re very excited to partner with Aliyoop to enable its users to process payments quickly and easily whilst accelerating their expansion to reach gamers around the world.”

Dan Goren, CEO and Co-Founder, Aliyoop, remarked:

“Staying connected with players on multiple channels and offering an exceptional experience is a top priority for our customers and the Aliyoop platform has been key to this. We are starting to use these channels for e-commerce and loyalty.”

As covered, Adyen is “the financial technology platform of choice for leading companies.”

By providing end-to-end payments capabilities, data-driven insights, and financial products in a single global solution, Adyen helps businesses “achieve their ambitions faster.”

With offices around the world, Adyen works “with the likes of Facebook, Uber, H&M, eBay, and Microsoft.”

The cooperation with Aliyoop as described in this merchant update “underlines Adyen’s continuous growth with current and new merchants over the years.”
