Taly to Use BPC to Provide Digital Payments in Egypt

Taly has enlisted BPC’s SmartVista Platform to provide digital payment services to banks, Fintechs, and other clients in Egypt.

Taly is a new Payment Service Provider based in Cairo. The provider is said to be the “first of its kind” in the region, offering digital payment solutions. Their services are predicted to expand digital transformation in the region, matching the policy of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) to achieve Egypt Vision 2030. 

Founded in 1996, BPC offers solutions and services for consumers when banking, shopping, and more. The company reports 350 customers in 100 different countries.

Magdy Hassan, CEO of Taly, described the process with BPC as seamless, providing the flexibility they wanted, including Card Management, Tokenization, Acquiring, Merchant Management and a full-fledged Payment Gateway.

Usama ElSayed, COO MEA at BPC, said they view Taly as a game changer in the payment industry – not only in Egypt but the region.

The Central Bank of Egypt and the Fintech sector in Egypt, is said to be rapidly expanding, with the number of digital payment users expected to amount to 84.13m users by 2027.
