CoinShares Hedge Fund Solutions Division to Bridge Gap between Traditional Institutional Investors and Digital Assets Sector

CoinShares (Nasdaq Stockholm: CS) announced the CoinShares Hedge Fund Solutions division, as part of their mission to continue bridging the gap “between traditional institutional investors and the dynamic world of digital assets.”

For the first time, CoinShares will be making its offerings “accessible to qualified U.S. investors through a range of private investment products.”

This new division will be “led by Lewis Fellas, who brings with him 23 years of industry experience (including 7 in digital assets).” His expertise will align seamlessly with CoinShares’ established proficiency “in trading and quantitative analysis, providing a solid foundation for premium products tailored to institutional investors.”

CoinShares was founded by Daniel Masters, Russell Newton, and Jean-Marie Mognetti (CEO of CoinShares), seasoned traders with experience in the world’s top banks.

They established the first listed and regulated Bitcoin active fund in 2014, which “delivered over 800% growth in performance, net of fees.”

Since then, CoinShares has been “shaping the future of investing as Europe’s leading European alternative asset manager specializing in digital assets.”

Their skilled team of professionals specializes in asset allocation, investment, risk management, market analysis, legal, compliance and accounting for digital assets.

Over the past 9 years, CoinShares has “honed a proprietary in-house trading technology platform tailored to its capital markets activities.”

Today, CoinShares extends “the benefits of its advanced, crypto-native platform to external allocators, providing access to cutting-edge tools and resources in the digital asset space.”

Bitcoin Integrated Strategies BIS

The fund deploys multiple strategies such “as call overwrite, quantitative and arbitrage to generate alpha above the performance of Bitcoin.”

Deployment to strategies is dynamic and “based upon systematic analysis of the prevalent market conditions.” The return characteristics of strategies “vary from futures arbitrage trading generating pure alpha to sophisticated momentum models to capture market trends.”

Ethereum Integrated Strategies EIS

The fund deploys the same overwrite, quantitative and arbitrage strategies “as found in our BIS fund but optimized for Ethereum. Strategy allocation is dynamic and systematic with an ensemble approach to delivering fund level returns.”

Additionally within their Ethereum strategy pallet we have developed a Staking strategy. In the face of market stagnation “with low volatility and bearish trends, our strategy swiftly adapts diverting a portion of the fund towards Staking to obtain robust rates.”
