Digital Asset Firm Nexo Strengthens Security and Transparency with CSA STAR Level 1 Certification

Nexo, the institution for digital assets, is advancing in cloud infrastructure security with the attainment of the Cloud Security Alliance’s Security, Trust & Assurance Registry (STAR) Level 1 Certification.

Following the recent successful completion of the prestigious SOC 2 Type 2 audit and the 2019 ISO 27 001 standardization, this third-party validation “elevates Nexo in the digital assets sector with a distinguished focus on client data security and transparent practices.”

CSA’s STAR certification, adopted by tech giants “like AWS, Google Maps, and VMWare among others, represents a rigorous, 261-question self-assessment process, followed by a third-party validation through the CSA Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM), to underscore and validate a company’s security measures.”

During the verification, which is now “publicly available, Nexo demonstrated its stringent security measures and protocols in absolute alignment with the highest CSA guidelines, shedding further light on the protections in place for customer data and operations.”

By completing the CSA STAR Level 1 and transparently sharing all safety measures “in place, Nexo aims to highlight its utmost dedication to security, compliance, and transparency.”

Nexo Co-Founder and Managing Partner Antoni Trenchev. said:

“As a company utilizing cloud services, we are determined to uphold the highest security standards in safeguarding client data with robust, yet transparent frameworks. Just as we work tirelessly to deliver innovative practical solutions, the same dedication goes towards investing in our security infrastructure.”

Jim Reavis, CEO and co-founder, Cloud Security Alliance.

“CSA STAR proudly acknowledges Nexo’s participation in the STAR program and achievement in attaining the Level 1 Certificate. We are fueled with optimism when leading companies in the digital assets sector display commitment and undertake their responsibility towards cloud service security and transparency. As CSA continues to align the best practices in cloud security, we commend Nexo on their engagement with CSA’s STAR registry and journey towards customer security.”

Nexo’s relentless dedication to security, compliance, and transparency has seen our company build a stringent security measures infrastructure that “adheres to the most demanding frameworks and standards.”

This commitment to safeguarding our clients’ personal data and assets is “what inspires us to constantly reach above and beyond in instilling confidence and trust in our clients.”
