Insurtech bolttech Teams Up with Salt in Switzerland and Monaco Telecom

International insurtech bolttech announced a preferred partnership with French entrepreneur Xavier Niel’s NJJ telecom Group (NJJ) in order “to provide device insurance for European mobile operators under its portfolio.”

Both Salt and Monaco Telecom are dedicated “to providing their customers with sustainable and safe device insurance solutions along with their offers.”

Salt currently serves more than 1.5 million postpaid mobile customers “across Switzerland with a 99.9% population coverage, while Monaco Telecom has over 800,000 registered mobile customers.”

The partnership sees bolttech selected “as the Group’s preferred device protection partner to embed relevant coverage within the existing customer journey of the mobile operators.”

This further deepens previous standalone collaborations “with local mobile operators such as Salt – a longstanding partner of bolttech in Switzerland, offering customers fast and efficient device protection services such as next-day device replacement and one-hour walk-in device repair.”

Dr. Jens Schädler, Chief Executive Officer for bolttech Europe, said:

“We are honoured to build on our long-standing relationships with existing partners under NJJ, such as Salt and Monaco Telecom, to strengthen and expand our international collaboration. Together, we will deliver a wide range of next-generation device protection to more customers across Europe. This partnership marks a significant milestone for bolttech as we expand our partnership with NJJ and strengthen our leadership in the device protection space.”

As covered, bolttech is an international insurtech “with a mission to build the world’s leading, technology-enabled ecosystem for protection and insurance. bolttech serves customers in more than 35+ markets across four continents: United States, Asia, Europe, and Africa.”

With a full suite of digital and data-driven capabilities, bolttech powers connections “between insurers, distributors, and customers to make it easier and more efficient to buy and sell insurance and protection products.”

As reported, Insurtech bolttech announced its partnership with Three Sweden, an innovative telecommunications service provider based in Sweden, in order “to offer comprehensive device protection solutions to customers both online and in-store.”

This strengthens bolttech’s existing collaboration “with CK Hutchison Holdings (CKHH), building on other key partnerships with CKHH businesses globally including WINDTRE in Italy, Drei Austria, and Three Hong Kong.”

Under the new partnership, Three Sweden customers will “have access to non-binding, device protection insurance and services covering damage, theft, loss and unauthorized use.”
