Maybank announces that all transactions from Maybank2u Biz app and web platforms will require Secure2u authorisation.
All Maybank2u Biz account holders are “recommended to activate the Secure2u authorization before 26 November 2023. Any activation of Secure2u for Maybank2u Biz app after 26 November 2023 will require a minimum 12-hour activation period.”
The Secure2u on Maybank2u Biz “underscores Maybank’s commitment to delivering secure and convenient banking solutions to curb unauthorized transactions and fraudulent activities for customers, in line with Maybank’s strategic thrusts for M25+ in intensifying its customer centricity.”

This includes migrating SMS TAC “to Secure2u, dedicated complaint channel for incident reporting, verification and activation period of a minimal of 12-hours, single mobile device for authorisation and activating Secure2u at ATMs for first-time registration and new devices for individual MAE app and M2U web users.”
The team are adamant “to ensure the safety and efficiency of their services for all their customers,” he continued.

Unlike activation for Secure2u authorization on the MAE app for first time users and new devices, “activating Secure2u for Maybank2u Biz does not require the additional step to authorize at the ATM.”
Secure2u provides the convenience and security “to authorise Maybank2u Biz transactions. With one-tap approvals through the Maybank2u Biz app, users can approve or reject the transactions. Transactions will only be processed and amount deducted from the accounts upon the approvals from Secure2u verifications.”
