Balance Adds Services to Platform

Balance, a B2B digital payment platform, says it has developed B2B checkout technology that includes net terms and online payment options like ACH and wire.

Balance has also partnered with B2B e-commerce platforms like BigCommerce, Mirakl, and Shopify.

The company secured a $350 million credit facility in November 2022.

Balance reports that it has grown to support 150 merchants, including 52 B2B marketplaces. Together, they represent more than 100,000 unique business buyers and north of 13,000 vendors.

Balance said its suite launch addresses the full range of challenges businesses face today, from underwriting SMBs for net terms to globally and instantly paying out suppliers.

As of today, Balance customers can take full advantage of four product suites. Digital Trade Credit encompasses products dedicated to swift buyer approval for terms, an integrated checkout application and invoice payments.

B2B Payments offers a variety of payment methods that support omnichannel and global transactions. Accounts Receivable Management provides dedicated products such as accounts payable tools for buyers, automated reconciliation, and dashboard reporting. Marketplace OS equips marketplaces with comprehensive tools for seamless transactions, covering everything from payouts to financing.

Balance said its solutions offer a universal payment platform, enabling merchants to facilitate payments across channels—point-of-sale or e-commerce. These solutions are flexible, modular, and customizable, allowing merchants to tailor their approach without an all-in-one commitment.

“At Balance, bringing trade online is an ongoing and evolving mission,” CEO Bar Geron said. “Recognizing that the challenges of trade credit and online payments are part of a larger picture, we developed a suite of enterprise-grade, modular products to address a myriad of business needs.

“Customers are seeing nearly doubled AOVs, a 50% reduction in DSOs, and overall better economic efficiency, leading to significant top line and bottom line growth.”
