New Partnership Elevates Singapore’s Insurtech Education

Insurtech industry player The Digital Insurer (TDI) has partnered with the Singapore College of Insurance (SCI) to introduce the GenAI Explorer Program, an innovative venture designed to usher in a new era for the insurance sector through the application of generative AI technology.

This exclusive partnership between TDI and SCI, an institution in professional insurance education, signifies a pivotal moment in the effort to redefine insurance practices with cutting-edge generative AI.

The collaboration aims to broaden the GenAI Explorer Program’s influence in Singapore, offering a customized educational experience that caters to the specific demands of the insurance market.

As TDI’s sole educational ally in Singapore for the GenAI Explorer Program, SCI will leverage a curriculum co-created with Microsoft. This curriculum encompasses on-demand learning modules, live interactive sessions, and practical exposure to GPT tools.

Targeted at insurance professionals, the program seeks to enhance personal productivity, illuminate the applications of AI within the insurance domain, and promote active learning through case studies and professional advice.

Enrollees in the GenAI Explorer Program will have access to an exclusive compilation of case studies and wisdom from industry frontrunners at TDI and Microsoft. This program not only aims to elevate professional growth but also contributes to Singapore’s goal of establishing itself as a global financial hub by upgrading the capabilities of its insurance workforce.

Hugh Terry, TDI’s Founder and CEO, shared his excitement over the collaboration, emphasizing the industry’s demand for pragmatic approaches to integrating generative AI. He highlighted the partnership’s potential to engage the entire insurance community in Singapore, enrich the program with relevant case studies, and adapt to the rapid advancements in generative AI technology.

Terry noted the special significance of partnering with SCI for TDI, given its Singaporean roots, marking a strategic move to influence and transform the local insurance landscape through technological innovation.
