Crowdcube Legal Counsel Joins Law Firm Clarke Willmot

Adam Connors, formerly legal counsel at UK based securities crowdfunding platform Crowdcube, has joined the law firm of Clarke Willmott as an associate in the Taunton office.

According to a statement by Clarke Willmott, Connors worked for Crowdcube for nine years, advising issuers pursuing 1700+ securities offerings, raising over £1 billion.

Kirill Bingham,  managing partner at the Taunton office, said:

“The Taunton office is continuing on its growth trajectory and as part of this we are delighted to welcome Adam into our corporate team. He has a wealth of experience, particularly in relation to investments and early-stage businesses across a variety of sectors, and his addition will bolster and complement the work of myself and Tom Potts, my fellow corporate partner.”

Connors is expected to continue working in corporate law, including securities offerings, acquisitions, and more.

Clarke Willmott notes they advise any business type or size, from entrepreneurs, start-ups, and private equity investors to family-owned businesses, public companies, and multinational corporations.

Crowdcube is one of the largest investment crowdfunding platforms in the world having enabled over £1.4 billion in securities offerings.
