Recently, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) updated its website. SEC Chairman Gary Gensler said the “changes will benefit investors, issuers, and the broader public.”
“I’m pleased that these updates will improve our website’s compliance with federal standards.”
While you will probably always have to hunt for certain documents and information, several design updates make it easier to gather information on SEC activity.
For starters, there is now a dedicated section on “Crypto Assets and Cyber Enforcement Actions.” While enforcement actions in the past have been glommed together, now you can zip to the SEC’s legal activities targeting crypto.
Another section of interest is for firms that are delinquent on their mandatory filings required under the law. One has to wonder if we will soon see Reg CF issuers on the delinquent list who have forgotten or ignored the requirement to file their form C-AR (annual report).
