Ledger announced that Revolut, one of the world’s leading fintech solutions for digital payments, will join Ledger Live as a buy provider.
This collaboration aims to further our mission of complete self-custody “for people’s financial assets and make buying crypto easier and more accessible than ever.”
Pascal Gauthier, Chairman, and CEO at Ledger said:
“Cryptocurrency is inevitable, and allowing people to buy and sell digital assets securely and with self-custody is paramount as more people enter the market, Ledger is excited to introduce this integration to Revolut customers; our partnership showcases the continued growth of Ledger’s transaction business.”
As noted in the update:
“Revolut shares our deep commitment to improving user security and accessibility throughout the crypto ecosystem. Now, even more users will feel confident transitioning from Web2 to Web3, and realize the value and power of self-custody.”
Revolut now joins Ledger Live “as a buy provider, offering a new on-ramping option to allow users to convert their fiat currency into cryptocurrencies—without compromising custody of their assets.”
This collaboration with Revolut also “brings a trifecta of advantages to crypto enthusiasts.”
You’ll be able to take advantage of the convenience of direct, “streamlined crypto purchase processes through Ledger Live using your Revolut account.”
Revolut users benefit from expedited verification, “bypassing additional ID checks for a faster experience.”
This collaboration marries Revolut’s trusted payment platform “with Ledger’s industry-leading hardware security, offering an unparalleled level of protection for your digital assets.” This synergy of accessibility, speed, and enhanced security “sets a new standard in cryptocurrency management, empowering users to engage with digital assets more confidently and efficiently than ever before.”
This streamlined process ensures “a seamless transaction experience, allowing you to securely purchase digital assets using your Revolut account inside the trusted Ledger ecosystem.”
As covered last month, Ledger is pleased to announce the latest evolution in our partnership with Best Buy.
Ledger customers now have the option “to buy a Ledger device online on Ledger.com and pick it up the same day in Best Buy stores across the US.”
As a staple of consumer technology in North America with more than 1,000 stores across the US and Canada, Best Buy is a trusted outlet “for the world’s biggest consumer technology brands.”
