The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will hold a roundtable on Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The event will be held at SEC headquarters in Washington, DC, and is open to the public for either in-person or virtual attendance.
AI is currently in use at most large, financial services firms but development and innovation continues to be robust as these firms look to reduce cost, improve services and provide improved options for their customers.
At the same time, there is some concern about the possibility of creating issues including systemic challenges, as AI is integrated into the financial services ecosystem.
The Roundtable will involve Acting Chairman of the SEC Mark Uyeda, Commissioners Hester Peirce and Caroline Crenshaw. While an agenda has yet to be published, the Commission asks interested individuals to register immediately if attending in person.
The event will be held at SEC HQ on March 27, 2025, commencing at 9 AM ET. You may register here.
