FEDROK AG, the Swiss blockchain innovator behind the Level 1 blockchain dedicated to tokenized carbon credits, has signed an MoU with Greentsika, an environmental social enterprise, to explore the monetization of “cash-for-trash projects through blockchain technology.”
This partnership marks a strategic step towards “leveraging FEDROK’s Level 1 blockchain platform to create transparent, traceable, and tokenized incentives for waste collection, empowering underserved communities and promoting circular economies across the island nation.”
Greentsika’s grassroots model transforms plastic and organic waste into value through community-led recycling, while FEDROK brings “blockchain infrastructure designed for social impact, particularly in tokenizing carbon credits and sustainability-linked assets.”
Philip Blazdell, CEO of FEDROK said the agreement was for a shared mission to unlock economic value.
Co-Founder of Greentsika, Gaetan Rajaofera, said the partnership allows them to connect local climate action with the global financial system.
The partnership will focus on:
- Developing digital wallets and micro-reward mechanisms for waste contributors;
- Piloting a token-based system to link waste collection with carbon offset markets;
- Building a transparent, data-driven impact dashboard for funders and regulators.
This MoU lays the groundwork for “a full-scale deployment of blockchain tools in community-based recycling.”
As noted in the update, FEDROK AG is a Swiss-based blockchain company operating the “Level 1 blockchain platform dedicated to tokenizing carbon credits and sustainability assets.”
With a mission to make environmental finance more accessible, FEDROK empowers “global communities to participate in the green economy.”
The company is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified and “has applied for VQF membership, reflecting its deep commitment to compliance, quality assurance, and environmental stewardship.”

As mentioned in the announcement, Greentsika is an environmental social enterprise focused “on waste transformation, community recycling, and eco-entrepreneurship.”
Its “Cash forTrash” initiative promotes local livelihoods while “tackling the country’s growing waste management challenges.”
