CAIS and LODAS Markets to Launch Secondary Marketplace for Private Funds

CAIS, the alternative investment platform for financial advisors, announced it has entered into a strategic partnership with LODAS Markets to introduce a secondary marketplace for private funds. The alliance will integrate LODAS’ secondary trading tech into the CAIS platform, offering financial advisors with an avenue of liquidity and flexibility for alternative investments.

By uniting CAIS’ Marketplace with LODAS’ secondary trading tech, the partnership establishes an entry point for advisors to access and execute secondary transactions.

The integrated solution is expected to go live in the first quarter of 2026, marking a step forward in “how private market allocations are managed across wealth management.”

LODAS’ platform is purpose-built for the wealth management community, combining an integrated user experience with full-stack secondaries capabilities.

As a proven operator focused on U.S. independent advisors, LODAS delivers turnkey infrastructure that simplifies trading and expands investment choice.

With this integration, advisors can now offer end clients both primary and secondary access to alternatives on one platform.

The update was announced during the 2025 CAIS Alternative Investment Summit, the gathering of independent advisors and alternatives managers.

Completion of the partnership is said to be contingent upon regulatory approval.

Recently, CAIS also announced expanded partnerships with Envestnet, Orion, and Vestmark—three of the industry’s wealth management software and services providers.

The technology integrations mark a step toward unifying the world of alternative and traditional investments—allowing advisors across platforms to source, manage, and transact “within a single, streamlined managed account experience.”

The integrations with Envestnet, Orion, and Vestmark will enable “streamlined data connectivity and synchronized workflows” across platforms, empowering CAIS platform users to:

  • Manage public and private assets for a more seamless portfolio management experience.
  • Access alternative investments — from subscription-based to ticker-traded products — all supported by independent due diligence.
  • Streamline the full investment lifecycle—from discovery and allocation to execution, monitoring, and reporting—saving time and effort.
  • Reduce operational friction across onboarding, trade processing, fund administration, and custodial connectivity.
  • Enhance portfolio construction with tools and analytics that support alternative investment allocations.

The update builds upon the launch of CAIS’ enterprise solution, which was designed to integrate alternative investments within Turnkey Asset Management Platforms (TAMPs) as well as managed account platforms.
