Crowdfunding Continues to Thrive During COVID Crisis, Wefunder Update Shows Solid Growth

Wefunder, a leading securities crowdfunding platform, shares that performance remains strong even during the COVID-19 health crisis.

In a tweet, Wefunder Director of Fundraising Jonny Price posted a graphical view of issuers recently raising capital.

Wefunder is echoing what we are hearing from other investment crowdfunding platforms that issuers are able to raise the capital they need while new investors continue to sign up and support early-stage ventures.

According to the Wefunder website, 438 issuers have raised over $160 million since the platform launched. The bulk of that amount was via Reg CF at $115.8 million, followed by Reg D at $35.2 million and Reg A+ at $9.8 million.

Wefunder hosts a page of results for some of its portfolio companies which is available here.
