Thredd to underpin Cashi’s Hong Kong stablecoin card debut

Thredd contributes issuer processing infrastructure for Cashi, whose app lets users send and hold digital assets. The card can facilitate daily spending. In Hong Kong, users get virtual Visa cards and Google Pay support.

Apple Pay launches in Philippines

Users can make contactless payments using their iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad or Mac. Supported credit and debit cards include offerings from Chinabank, GoTyme Bank, Metrobank and UnionBank.

Kraken launches cashback card

The Krak Card offers up to 2% cash or bitcoin back. The monetary rewards rate depends on the amount of customer assets held. More than 600 currencies and crypto types can be deployed in the Kraken program.

Nium confirms US card issuance

Businesses can now issue local cards across APAC, Europe, the Middle East, and North America while maintaining access to Nium’s global payment network.

Xero launches payroll, payments functionality

Xero Payroll, supported by Gusto, allows clients to manage payroll alongside other core business functions in one platform. Melio Expense Management lets businesses track and categorize card spending in real-time.

Melio also debuted Casper, an AI-assisted accounting client manager, and the Melio API, a self-serve, B2B payout API.

Yuze, airpay India confirm digital payments union

The two firms will collaborate on digital payment acceptance and acquiring capabilities as Yuze expands across India. Part of Yuze’s India growth roadmap. Yuze can now support digital collections, payment acceptance and transaction processing.

Trust Bank launches Freedom Card in Singapore

The card provides stockback rewards on US stocks and ETFs. Once users amass S$10, it’s invested in a pre-chosen stock or ETF. Users can choose from 50 options.
