Misfit Shine, the popular activity tracker, raised over $840,000 on Indiegogo in 2013 – placing the campaign in the top ten campaigns on Indiegogo that year. Pebble Watch raised over $10 million way back in 2012 on Kickstarter (the Jurassic period in rewards based crowdfunding) and became the poster child hardware crowdfunding. Both devices have captured the attention of the wearable world as we quickly move into the new world era of all things connected.
Well now these two success stories are hooking up in a natural marriage of App meeting Activity Tracker. Misfit 
announced today;

Now just because Pebble and Misfit are partnering on a connected device certainly doesn’t leave Apple out of the loop. Misfit has been prominently associated with iOS / iPhone – a relationship that is certain to continue (along with their Android App). Especially if a smart watch ever decides to escape from the confines of One Infinite Loop in Cupertino.
