IntelligentCrowd.TV Raises Capital to Fund International Expansion

Shane Smith Announces IntelligentCrowdTVIntelligentCrowd TV has announced its intent to raise capital online in their “initial crowd offering.” IntelligentCrowd TV has posted an offer on the Angel Investment Network and stated its intent to soon list a share offer on SyndicateRoom at a lower a lower minimum investment requirement. This funding round is designed to support a planned international expansion in 2017.

IntelligentCrowd TV recently relaunched an updated website. According to their site, IntelligentCrowd TV expects to launch two new series in January of 2017: The Seed & EIS Hour and the Series A Hour. For the Series A Hour the company has partnered with Match Capital and expects to co-host episodes with some of the UKs leading VC firms. IntelligentCrowd TV intends on bringing Series A companies to a wider audience including family offices and corporate venture investors.

Julia Groves EIS HourIntelligentCrowd.TV was announced by founder and CEO Shane Smith in October of 2014 with first shows commencing in early 2015.  The platform was initially described as “Crowdfunding meets Dragons Den and X-Factor”. IntelligentCrowd.TV has partnered with Argus Research to provide insightful criticism of early stage investment opportunities.

IntelligentCrowd.TV recently live streamed the UK Crowdfest event as it repositions itself for 2017.
