Cloud Imperium Games has announced the release of Star Citizen’s Organization system. In Star Citizen, organizations are groups that will persist into the game. Organizations can be created by anyone with the game package on their account. There are a host of available features that are explained in detail in a recent post to the blog at robertsspaceindustries.com.
CiG doled out a “special thank you to the hundreds of Citizens who volunteered to test the Organizations system over the past week.” Crowdfunding is definitely about more than just funding. CiG has 350,000+ beta testers and it is proving instrumental in helping to craft the game.
Also, in news that should be stunning but is becoming run-of-the-mill, the game has crossed the $37 million funding mark. The game raised just under $100,000 yesterday.
