The platform just announced a pretty huge investment to juice their global expansion. Founded in the UK, they have already opened up shop in the United States but with new money in the bank I expect that soon we will hear some new announcements regarding expansion into other countries.
The information below highlights a painful problem with traditional banks. Yes we all know they are dinosaurs lumbering around in desperate need of some Darwinian evolution. But the comparison shows that a business may get funding using P2P in a couple weeks – meanwhile months later the banks are still filing the paperwork.
