Creators of Indiegogo Success Flow Hive Offer Up New Virtual Tour of Factory

Flow Hive Honey

Giving backers a closer look at Indiegogo Alum Flow Hive’s honey progress, creator Cedar Anderson offered up a virtual tour.

Flow Hive 1Flow Hive was created by father-son duo Australian natives, Cedar and Stuart Anderson, and is considered a “revolutionary” beehive invention that allows its users to harvest honey without having to open the hive. It also minimizes disturbance to the bees. “Turn the tap and watch as pure, fresh, clean honey flows right out of the hive and into your jar. No mess, no fuss, no expensive processing equipment without disturbance of bees.”

The Byron Bay-based Flow Hive raised its $70K goal in under 8 minutes. It also set a record of most funds raised within a 24 hour period at $2.18 million.

Anderson announced in an Indiegogo update:

“September saw two new milestones for us, our little boy turned six months old and the September orders made it out the door! Among them were the first batch of Complete Full Flow Hives ever made.

Flow Hive 2“We are already receiving lots of exciting messages as people unpack and assemble their Western Red Cedar hives. We love hearing from you and seeing your pictures! Stu has just returned home from a special trip to visit our Oregon factory where all the beautiful Western Red Cedar hives are being made.

“The team over there has streamlined the packaging process so that they’re flat-packing each Flow Hive in under 20 seconds! The vibes were good at the factory and there was a buzz in the air as the first boxes headed out the door.”
