With its crowdfunding campaign on SyndicateRoom set to close on Thursday evening, British fashion brand, Beulah London, has captured close to £430,000.

As previously reported, Beulah London was started by Lavinia Brennan and friend of Kate Middleton, Lady Natasha Rufus. It offers tops, skirts, dresses, jackets, trousers, scarves and bags with a price range of £30 to £765. Besides fashion, Beulah London is also seeking to promote human trafficking awareness.

Lady Natasha previously told  The Telegraph:

Beulah London 3“Lavinia and I spent two months working in Delhi with women who had been trafficked. We decided to work in an aftercare home about six, seven years ago, and during the afternoons we worked with the women in a production unit teaching them very basic skills. It was there we witnessed the power of employment that can change people’s lives and get them out of poverty, and breaks the cycle of crime.”

Sky Sports presenter Natalie Pinkman, who invested in Beulah’s previous round, stated:

“Natasha and Lavinia are both applied, resourceful and astute businesswomen, who together make a great team. I believe not only in their vision but also in the traction they have in fashion, lifestyle and affecting social change.”

A SyndicateRoom investor (committing £5,000), who wishes to remain anonymous, added:

Beulah London 1“Mustard Seed seem to me to be very canny investors and have invested £250k, which suggests confidence in this opportunity. I consider that there is massive potential for growth in the US market, which has barely been tapped. I’m also impressed that the business was set up in 2010 and survived in what has been a very difficult economic climate. This is impressive, particularly when 90 % of similar businesses failed during that period. I particularly like the drive and enthusiasm of the two young co-founders, and I also like the brand story.”

Beulah London has reportedly generated £1.4 million in revenue, with £340,000 generated in 2015.
