Snapp CV, a mobile job app that allows users to apply on-the-go through video and text, has successfully secured its initial £200,000 equity crowdfunding campaign target on Seedrs. The company launched the campaign earlier this year, seeking the funds as it prepares to expand.
Snapp CV reported it is currently developing a mobile job search application that is targeted towards recruiters and job seeks in the UK. The app was designed by recruiters, for recruiters, to increase efficiencies in the recruiting process.
“The app is targeted at anyone searching for a job, be that white collar, or blue collar, this also includes senior/exec level job hunters. With the 60 second optional video as part of the job hunting process, we are hoping that both candidates and clients will agree that we have a strong offering.”
The company also explained the app’s process:
“A simple registration process, once completed, enter the job you are looking for and our algorithms getting working away for you. You are then presented with the jobs that match. Using your finger, swipe through left to right browsing through the vacancies, touch the job of interest, here you can either save it to come back later or just go ahead and apply. As you can see from the screen on the right, attach your CV, record a 60 second profile video (which you can re-do again!), when finished, touch send and you are done! Now we all sit back and wait, an email or a form of contact will be made by the recruiter, the rest is history, or should we say ‘All done in a SNAPP!’”
Snapp CV reported that it is sending the app out for beta testing and is confident that changes can be made easily. Funds raised on Seedrs will go towards setting up a sales team, operations team with the assistance of the already in place finance team. Snapp stated it would continue to look to it’s experienced Board of NED’s that have offered assistance during its app launch.
