Goren Holm Group Launches New Company Targeting Security Tokens

The Goren Holm Group, creators of the Crypto Invest Summit – an investment focused event targeting the blockchain and crypto industry, have announced the formation of a new company, Security Token Summit, LLC. The announcement was accompanied by a first scheduled event to be taking place in Los Angeles this coming April.

Described as a high-end, security token and digital securities event, the gathering will focus on topics such as custody, compliance, regulation, investing, marketing, tokenization, real estate and more. As the security token concept has taken hold industry participants have worked to become regulatory compliant – often a complex task.

The Goren Holm Group was founded by early securities crowdfunding advocates Alon Goren and Josef Holm. The two Fintech industry pioneers have been engaged with the investment crowdfunding sector since before the JOBS Act (the legislation that enabled crowdfunding) became actionable under the law.

The upcoming Security Token Summit was developed to coincide with existing securities regulations that enable online capital formation: Regulation Crowdfunding, Regulation A+, and Reg D 506c (accredited crowdfunding). When securities are combined with blockchain (or distributed ledger technology) advocates believe that a new breed of digital assets will emerge bringing greater democratization of capital for both investors and issuers.

The Security Token Summit, LLC is also being advised by multiple industry pioneers, including:

  • David Weild IV, who is a stock market expert best known for his position as Vice Chairman of NASDAQ. He is currently the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Weild & Co. Inc. which is revolutionizing investment banking. Weild is also recognized as an early proponent of the JOBS Act and has been involved in drafting legislation for the US Congress.
  • Jor Law, who co-founded the compliance software company, VerifyInvestor.com. Law serves on the board of Prime Trust and is also a consultant for prominent companies in the STO ecosystem globally, including tZERO and Polymath.
  • Ami Ben David, whose fund, SPiCE VC, is the first fully-tokenized and distributed venture capital fund.  SPiCE VC recently made history by being the first digital security traded on the blockchain.

Already slated to speak at the inaugural event are Ami Ben David, Tal Elyashiv, Carlos Domingo, Jamie Finn, Jor Law, David Weild, Amy Wan, and Andrew Dix (CEO of Crowded Media Group – publisher of Crowdfund Insider).
