Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com announced on Monday it integrated with economy as a service fintech, Oveit. According to Crypto.com, the integration will see more than 3,500 offline and virtual events organizers utilize Oveit’s platform to accept cryptocurrency payments from over 1.5 million event attendants through Crypto.com Pay.
“With Crypto.com Pay Checkout integrated on the Oveit platform, event organizers using the Oveit platform can now accept BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP and CRO. Cryptocurrencies received can be instantly converted to fiat currencies of choice for event organizers who do not wish to be exposed to the exchange rate volatility.”
Customers who are now making payments using Crypto.com Pay for Oveit-Powered events will receive up to 10% cashback in CRO in their Crypto.com wallet until July 31st. Along with the cashback, Oveit is also offering a commission waiver to event organizers on ticket purchase payments received through Crypto.com Pay Checkout till the end of the year.
Founded in 2016, Crypto.com is aiming to accelerate the “world’s transition” to cryptocurrency. Its key products include the Crypto.com App, the MCO Visa Card, and the Crypto.com Chain. The platform recently announced it has reduced withdrawal fees for a total of 12 cryptocurrencies.
