Tencent Cloud Partners with Chainlink Labs, a Developer of the Chainlink Network

The team at Tencent is pleased to announce that Tencent Cloud, which is described as one of the world’s leading cloud companies, has entered into a partnership with Chainlink Labs, a developer of the Chainlink Network.

This partnership will “help support the development of the global Web3 ecosystem.”

Tencent Cloud provides Web3 developers “with stable and secure cloud services and tooling, such as Cloud Virtual Machine and Elastic Kubernetes Service.”

Tencent Cloud has “a range of solutions for various segments within Web3, such as Tencent Cloud Media Services for decentralized social applications, Real Time Cloud Rendering for blockchain-based games, and a unified edge service platform that integrates Web Application Firewall (WAF), Anti-DDoS, and CDN for digital asset trading platforms.”

Through the use of these solutions alongside Chainlink Web3 services that provide access to off-chain data and computation, developers can “build more secure, reliable, and feature-rich applications.”

Tencent Cloud is looking forward “to supporting the vibrant Chainlink ecosystem, which includes cutting-edge, high-growth Web3 startups that are part of the Chainlink BUILD program.”

Through this collaboration, Chainlink BUILD projects will “get access to various benefits,” including:

  • Default vouchers of USD10,000 value of Tencent Cloud services and the opportunity to receive additional vouchers worth up to USD100,000
  • Prioritized product and service listing to Tencent Cloud International Marketplace
  • Early invitations to join Tencent Cloud Web3 networking, webinars, and events

Poshu Yeung, Senior Vice President at Tencent Cloud International, said:

“We recognize that secure and scalable infrastructure is critical to the development of the global Web3 ecosystem, which is why we’re glad to collaborate with Chainlink Labs, a developer of Chainlink, the industry-standard oracle network. By supporting developers with decentralized services and tooling, they’re able to build more robust and advanced applications that accelerate the adoption of Web3.”

Johann Eid, VP of Go-To-Market at Chainlink Labs, said:

“We’re excited to enter this strategic partnership with Tencent Cloud, which will help support Chainlink BUILD projects and propel the adoption of Web3. Access to highly secure, decentralized infrastructure enables developers to build feature-rich applications that drive the entire space forward.”

As noted in the update, Chainlink Labs claims it is “the leading provider of secure and reliable open-source blockchain oracle solutions, enhancing smart contracts by connecting them to a wide range of off-chain data sources and computations, such as asset prices, web APIs, IoT devices, payment systems, and more.”

Chainlink Labs is “dedicated to the development and integration of Chainlink as the standard decentralized oracle framework used by smart contracts across any blockchain.”
