Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) has become a “Digital First integrator” as part of the Mastercard Engage network.
G+D says it has expanded its role with Mastercard to facilitate digital payment solutions.
Founded in 1852, G+D is a global security technology group headquartered in Munich. G+D develops technology in four areas: payment, connectivity, identities, and digital infrastructures. The company says that consumers now expect integrated digital payments along with a physical option.
G+D can now provide Mastercard customers digital payment services such as digital debit, credit card issuance, or mobile and digital payments.
“Becoming a Digital First integrator in the Mastercard Engage network is an important milestone for G+D,” says Jukka Yliuntinen, Head of Digital Payment Solutions at G+D. “It is a proper seal of approval and underscores G+D’s leadership in enabling seamless digital payment experiences that foster customer loyalty and lead to greater profitability for banks.”
