EquityZen Celebrates 10 Years of Business, Rebrands with New Logo, Design

EquityZen is celebrating ten years of operation. EquityZen is a marketplace for private securities. EquityZen is not a primary issuance platform but provides liquidity for shares in private firms – frequently from employees that have been granted shares in companies that are not listed on a securities exchange. EquityZen reports more than 35,000 private placements completed across 400+ companies. The company states that it has more than 630,000 subscribers, which may be interested in acquiring shares in private firms. Many of these companies are recognizable brands.

At the same time, EquityZen has announced a rebranding with a new logo and an updated website.

Atish Davda, CEO of EquityZen, said they are proud as to what they have created. Now, via conversations with their users they have launched a new and improved platform as they “seek to welcome a broader and more diverse set of investors and shareholders interested in exploring a market that had until recently only been open to a select few.”

“The full EquityZen team has embraced and been committed to this new, client-centered approach from the moment they first were introduced to the research findings and design language,” said Jean Brandolini Lamb, Head of Marketing for EquityZen.

The “relaunch” kicked off yesterday and will continue to roll out in the coming days.
