FinMkt Welcomed by American Fintech Council

The American Fintech Council (AFC), an industry association representing fintech companies and banks creating access to safe and affordable financial services, has announced that FinMkt has become its newest member. Woman-founded and owned, the AFC said the company adds an important voice to the fast-growing association that embraces responsible innovation and a commitment to regulatory compliance and consumer protection.

“FinMkt, a trusted embedded lending platform, is revolutionizing the point-of-sale consumer finance market by increasing consumer choice,” said Phil Goldfeder, chief executive officer of the AFC. “Fintech is about utilizing innovation to create consumer options, and there is no better example than FinMkt, who partners with small and large financial institutions to offer customizable digital lending solutions to merchants and consumers.”

Founded in 2014, FinMkt fosters embedded digital lending technology with its fully customizable multi-lender point-of-sale consumer financing platform. FinMkt empowers banks, credit unions, and alternative lenders with a full SaaS cloud-based technology stack to enable point-of-sale lending and payment solutions. Optimized for the home improvement, healthcare, and service industries, their technology offers speed-to-market solutions in several verticals.

“FinMkt is delighted to join forces with AFC in an effort to foster responsible innovation in financial technology,” said Luan Cox, founder and CEO of FinMkt. “Together, we aim to drive positive change within the industry, ensuring that technological advancements are harnessed to benefit consumers, businesses, and the broader financial ecosystem. By combining our expertise and resources, we will create a collaborative environment that encourages ethical practices, regulatory compliance, and the development of innovative solutions.”

AFC’s mission is to promote a transparent, inclusive, and customer-centric financial system by supporting responsible innovation in financial services and encouraging sound public policy. AFC members foster competition in consumer finance and pioneer products to better serve underserved consumer segments and geographies.

“We are excited to collaborate with FinMkt, but even more with their powerhouse founder and CEO Luan Cox who has built yet another company and smart team that permeates energy, enthusiasm and desire to change the future of finance,” concluded Goldfeder.
