RedotPay Expands Circle Payments Network Integration, Adds Features

RedotPay, a stablecoin payments firm, this week announced an expansion of its integration with Circle Payments Network. RedotPay introduces “Send Crypto, Receive MXN”, designed to provide a nearly instant and more cost-effective payment solution for Mexico, one of the world’s largest payment corridors. This new feature enables simpler conversions between crypto and fiat.

We are building a stablecoin-based payment infrastructure that is fast and efficient, says RedotPay founder and CEO Michael Gao.

“Cryptocurrencies enable financial inclusion in a way no other asset class ever has. But the real value is in being able to spend, send, and receive crypto as easily as local currency.”

Gao says that Mexico is a critical hub in the payment market but traditional payments and transfers come with high fees and delayed settlements.

RedotPay’s new feature can fundamentally change this. Through the Circle Payments Network integration, users can convert between cryptocurrency and fiat.  This service leverages the efficiency of the blockchain to reduce transaction fees to below 1% and enable near-instant fund payouts, offering a significant cost and time advantage for local users.

For a digital nomad, a freelancer, or an entrepreneur, this feature provides a seamless way to convert between digital and fiat currencies. Within five minutes, a user can send $200 in USDC from their RedotPay wallet to fiat for daily personal expenses, without their money being eroded by high service fees.

The launch of this integration follows RedotPay’s successful completion of a $40 million Series A funding round and $47 million strategic investment, which will be used to accelerate the deployment of its global crypto payment solutions. Following the successful launch of its “Send Crypto, Receive BRL” feature in Brazil, RedotPay plans to expand its technology to more emerging markets.
