Kickstarter to Hold 3rd Annual Film Festival in August

Kickstarter Film FestivalKickstarter will be presenting their 3rd Annual Kickstarter Film Fest in Brooklyn next month.  Scheduled for Saturday, August 3rd starting at 7PM and running until Mid-night or so.  The event is free for the public and will include a selection of some of their favorite films funded on Kickstarter.

The screening will include features as well as documentaries, shorts and animations.

Film and video is one of Kickstarter’s most successful crowdfunding categories having successfully raised almost $127 Million on their platform since launch.  This category is just after their top crowdfunding category which is currently games.
