Global event organizer and consulting group Crowdsourcing Week has indicated their intent to raise equity via the Crowdcube crowdfunding platform.

Crowdsourcing Week recently came on the global scene by hosting a well attended, successful event in Singapore in June 2013. The 5 day event focused on how groups of people or “crowds” can make outstanding contributions through a collaborative business model at the enterprise level. The event captured over 40 speakers and included representatives from global names such as Microsoft, Google and Elance.

Founded in 2012, the company was formed based on an event held in 2011 when Epi organized an event entitled, “How Crowdsourcing is Changing the Advertising Business” during Internet Week 2011. Understanding that engagement and knowledge transfer in the crowdsourcing space could impact a wider audience of organizations, Epi then set out to start Crowdsourcing Week.
