Indiegogo Set To Launch Global Resource Network Of Crowdfunding Experts

indiegogo-logo1In an effort to connect crowdfunders with service providers that can help projects succeed, crowdfunding platform Indiegogo is launching a new platform called Indiegogo Playbook. Indiegogo is currently encouraging support campaigners to sign up for inclusion on the forthcoming site.

The crowdfunding industry is exploding, with new platforms, innovations and experts emerging daily. Indiegogo, the world’s first and largest crowdfunding platform, solidifies its position as the global leader with the introduction of the ‘Indiegogo Playbook,’ a comprehensive online educational resource designed to equip future and current campaigners, partners and contributors with the tools, best practices, strategies and advice on how to be better campaigners and crowdfunding participants.

The site is being billed as a “centralized and easy-to-navigate online destination intended to coach campaign owners, contributors and partners the best practices for crowdfunding through each step of a campaign.”

“As more and more people are creating and funding crowdfunding campaigns worldwide, the ‘Indiegogo Playbook’ allows us to deliver critical education, backed up with key statistics, best practices, case studies and success stories, that, until now, haven’t been available in one unified location,” said Danae Ringelmann, Indiegogo co-founder and chief customer officer. “Armed with the right information, campaigners and partners can significantly increase their effectiveness and improve their likelihoods for success, and contributors can approach crowdfunding with confidence now and in the future.”

In addition to the online educational resources announced today, in the coming months Indiegogo will introduce a Global Crowdfunding Resource Network, built to support campaigners, contributors and partners looking for additional resources with a destination to find consultants, influencers and advisors in the crowdfunding space.

“We created a platform that connects people around the world to fund what matters to them, and what has naturally evolved is a growing ecosystem of influencers, advisors, experts and consultants working to making this industry more robust,” said Ringelmann. “Just as we saw a video ecosystem emerge through YouTube, social media through Facebook and ecommerce through eBay, Indiegogo is leading the way for crowdfunding.”

Those interested in participating can sign up to be considered for inclusion at the ecosystem’s landing page.
