Monthly Subscription Dog Treat Service Bow Wow Box Seeks $75,000 on PledgeMe

Bow Wow Box 2Bow Wow Box, a monthly subscription dog treat service provided by New Zealand’s Delivered 2 You Limited, launched an equity crowdfunding campaign on PledgeMe to raise funds so that it can continue expansion along with offer more items for canines and new cat line.

The Bow Wow Box delivers a box of treats and toys monthly to dog owners and their dogs. It has a minimum funding goal of $75,000 up to $225,000 which is equivalent to between 5.3% and 14.3% of the company. Shares are $1 each and the minimum buy is $500.

Managing Director and Founder, Andy Evans announced that he was excited to be launching the campaign through PledgeMe because of the dramatic growth in their customer base:

“We’re noticing quite a movement away from glutenous and wheat-based foods to a more natural diet in New Zealanders. Bow Wow Box has progressed through a proof of concept stage and have been experiencing strong growth with over 400 subscribers. Now with in excess of 4,000 boxes delivered we’re ready to go massive.

This equity crowdfunding campaign will deliver much needed capital so we can fast track the business to the next level of growth. We have a clear growth path to increase marketing to rapidly build subscriber numbers in New Zealand and expand overseas at the right time. We are also looking at a new product line, the cat equivalent: Meow Wow Box.

“Our vision is for Bow Wow Box to be the pet box delivery company of choice in New Zealand.Our goal is to deliver to 5–10% of dog owners. This would make the market size of around 35,000 to 70,000 boxes a month. This will then allow us to expand into Australia.”

The campaign is set to close at the beginning of August.
