Update: Milk Beauty Secures Nearly £250,000 First Week on Seedrs

MILK-Beauty-Car-500x375Just one week after launching its Seedrs equity crowdfunding campaign, on-demand, in home spa service Milk Beauty has successfully secured nearly £250,000. The company turning to the platform with a mission to raise £300,000 for an 18.76% equity stake.

Milk Beauty offers at home, in office and hotel treatments for Londoners, 10:00 am till 11:00 pm 7 days a week. Providing a dedicated and professional service tailored to meet the requirements of the customer, each appointment is delivered by one of Milk Beauty’s in-house therapists – offering the same quality and calibre of service every time. The all-female team, based in Hackney, is said to be creating 3 to 5 new jobs each month as the service grows.

The company stated:

She then revealed:

“2016 is going to be an exciting year at Milk. To kick start our growth plans for next year we have launched a dedicated crowdfund through Seedrs. The fund raise will help take the brand to the next level. It is fantastic to see how successfully our campaign has launched. In the first 36 hours of the Seedrs fundraise we had raised £140,000, 47% of the £300,000 target.
