IAMRUNBOX, an active lifestyle brand that has created light backpack and carriers for active commuters, has successfully secured its initial €100,000 through its crowdfunding campaign on FundedByMe. The company raised SEK 260,079 during its Kickstarter initiative last fall.
The company, which launched its first product online in January 2015, is expanding its current product range and has so far delivered seven different products to the market in January 2017. The products are already being sold through online channels and distributors. IAMRUNBOX has also formed a partnership agreement in Asia and will begin operations in Singapore next month.
“We are building a global brand focused on active lifestyle and clean Scandinavian design. Our innovative bags for active commuters have already proved a concept with 1000+ products sold through online channels, distributers and we delivered a successful Kickstarter campaign with 25.000 EUR backed.”
Speaking about IAMRUNBOX’s funding success, FundedByMe CEO and co-founder, Daniel Daboczy, stated:
“FundedByMe’s network of Asian investors has already proven to be very helpful in the growth of the IAMRUNBOX brand. Choon Seng Tan, one of the Singaporean investors into FundedByMe, has opted to join the IAMRUNBOX advisory board and guide the brand into their Asian expansion.”

Funds from the FundedByMe round will be used for expansion (U.S, Germany, South East Asia), new product line development, team expansion, aggressive growth, and preparation for VC investment round. The campaign is set to close on March 10th.
