Vodi, the global fintech and communication services app with a worldwide footprint, has successfully completed its crowdfunding round on Wefunder. The initiative attracted more than 160 new investors. The app’s creators plan to use the funds to enter its next phase and off new features and products, which will include international bill payment, peer-to-peer money transfer, and more in-demand financial and telecom services.
Darren Lu, Vodi founder and CEO, shared thoughts on the crowdfunding campaign’s success:
“We’re so pleased and thankful to be welcoming all of our crowdfunding investors to the Void family as new shareholders. That so many others were excited by the opportunity to be part of our company and own a part of the app shows that our hard work is paying off, and the future for Vodi is definitely very bright.”
The Vodi team also reported that during the two months since the campaign was running, it more forward by bring on eGift cards for 15 new countries and introduced a new feature that allows users to earn more Vodi coins. It was also global fan vote sponsor for Miss USA in May and snow service as a sponsor and voting platform for Miss Panama and several other national pageants this summer. The creators went on to add:
