Daisy Green Collection, an Antipodean group that has nine central London locations that serve artisan coffee, Aussie brunch, craft beers, and cocktails, closed its equity crowdfunding round on Crowdcube yesterday with more than £2 million secured. The campaign was launched last month and quickly raised its initial £500,0000 funding target.
As previously reported, the company claims to be at the forefront of the “thriving” Antipodean cafe culture scene by offering authentic, flexible, all day offering that has a customer base that includes vegan, vegetarian, and paleo diet followers. It is focused on sustainability, best in class suppliers, nutrition, and health whilst continually pushing quality and value.
“The Daisy Green Collection brings relaxed and buzzing Australian food and coffee culture to London. Through individually designed cafes and restaurants, the Collection creates iconic spaces which quickly become local destinations and meeting points for surrounding residents and visitors. From the first coffee of the day to award winning brunch, to evening dinner and drinks, Daisy Green provides a unique, uplifting Australian experience.”
During the final hours of the crowdfunding campaign, the Daisy Green team listed the following:
- Runrate turnover and site EBITDA: £10 million and £2 million
- 4x overfunded
- £2 million+ raised
- EIS advance assurance
Funds from the Crowdcube round will be used to continue the growth and expansion of Daisy Green.
