Yoyo Wallet announced on Monday it has partnered with European coffee chain SOHO Coffee Co. to provide mobile payments and loyalty app. The new collaboration with SOHO comes just a couple of months after Yoyo Wallet formed a partnership with easyCoffee.
Founded in 2013, Yoyo describes itself as the fastest growing mobile wallet in Europe. Its mobile app provides shoppers with secure mobile payments as well as automatic loyalty collection on every purchase and offers and brand interactions that are personalized to previous purchasing behavior. For retailers, the app takes customers identification.
“Through Yoyo, retailers can identify every customer at the point-of-sale and connect them to their SKU data, turning anonymous shoppers into individuals with purchasing preferences and habits. From here, we provide a platform to analyse, segment and engage.”
According to Yoyo, SOHO Coffee’s new app will be rolled out to all of the company’s stores in the UK and provide customers with secure, straight-through mobile payments, automated loyalty points. SOHO’s MD, Penny Manuel, stated:
“Being able to connect with customers and generate tailor-made, relevant benefits is a win-win for everyone and will strengthen long term relationships with our valued customers. Given their sector experience, we felt Yoyo were the right partner for this project.”
Michael Rolph, Co-Founder and CEO at Yoyo, added:
“We’re delighted to be working with SOHO Coffee Co., which is leading the charge among high street brands to truly transform the in-store experience – utilising purchasing behaviour to instantly and personally reward all of their valued customers. It is this strategy that adds real value to the customer experience, drives in-store footfall and, crucially, increases CLV.”
