Blockchain-based fan engagement platform for sports and entertainment, Chiliz, announced on Thursday it has formed a global partnership with mixed martial arts (MMA) organization, UFC. According to Chiliz, the partnership will enable UFC to tap into a captive audience of enthusiastic sports fans from around the world, creating countless opportunities to grow their brand through promotional activity on Chiliz’s fan reward and voting Socios.com platform.
Chiliz further explained that the collaboration will also enable UFC to capitalize on Chiliz’s fintech expertise in the sports space, creating further opportunities to grow the UFC brand and increase fan engagement through innovative blockchain, tech, and mobile app solutions. All Fan Token holders, as well as those who own $CHZ, will be able to access UFC-related offers and rewards, including tickets to UFC events or pre-sale access to tickets through this partnership.

The partnership with UFC comes just a couple of months after Chiliz joined forces with FC Barcelona. the agreement is notably part of the Barça’s new digital and commercial strategy and will help the Club stay closer to its global fanbase through Barça Fan Tokens ($BAR).
