UK Fintech MultiPay has Officially Launched its Digital Payments Services, Allowing Clients to Settle Transactions from Anywhere

UK-based payments Fintech MultiPay has officially launched its services, which allow clients to accept payments from anywhere in the world.

Digital commerce transactions in the United Kingdom have surged over 45% during the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, physical in-store payments have declined during the same time period.

Due to these changes in our environment, consumers have gotten comfortable or increasingly familiar with settling transactions using online payment solutions. Because of the increase in demand for more seamless payment options, London- and Milan-headquartered MultiPay Global Solutions has decided to enter the booming payments market.

Multipay allows merchants throughout the world to accept virtual payments from anywhere. The Fintech firm’s comprehensive digital payments solution features an API that serves as a single point of integration between acquirers located in any country and supports many different payment methods.

MultiPay aims to offer a seamless and intuitive payment experience and couture service for its clients. The company’s gateway works across all the major payment channels in almost any sector or industry such as retail, hospitality, travel, and transportation.

MultiPay’s launch has come at an ideal time when considering that the ongoing pandemic has accelerated the shift towards all-digital platforms and services, including online payments.

MultiPay’s PCI P2PE & PCI DSS L1 validated solution is considered a “unique” technology, which establishes a common payment gateway supporting all major currencies, payment methods and acquirers.

With an all-in-one payment gateway or channel in place, MultiPay aims to remove the overall complexity from existing payment infrastructures, offering merchants a simplified, agile, and intuitive solution that allows them to have full control over their payment process. The solution may be well-suited for merchants operating across the globe (both in-store and online).

Delia Pedersoli, COO at MultiPay Global Solutions, stated:

“As the retail, hospitality, travel, and tourism sectors begin to reopen, payments are going to be at the forefront of the customer experience. Being able to take any payment, anywhere will allow businesses to operate much more efficiently, as the same terminal and webpage can be used regardless of the transaction being made.”

David Maisey, CEO at MultiPay Global Solutions, remarked:

“It is really exciting to be launching MultiPay and helping large merchants expand and scale into new countries and markets following the pandemic. We have a very talented team that understands every customer has a unique payment proposition and needs a service tailored specifically for them, creating a genuine couture experience. Technology runs through our company. In fact, 65% of our workforce are from a technology background, which helps us with continually innovating MultiPay’s solution. This expertise, combined with our agile mindset allows our team to make things happen – fast.”

Tony Westwater, Head of IT at Frasers Group, which includes House of Fraser, Sports Direct, Game and Jack Wills, added:

“As stores re-open, we must offer a first-class customer experience across in-store and on-line. Payment is a key part of the customer experience as it is the point where a consumer fully commits to our brand and products. MultiPay Global Solutions understands this and delivers a seamless payment experience while removing the complexities often felt when managing multiple systems.”

MultiPay Global Solutions has been introduced with a growing list of clients based in 22 different countries. Some of the firm’s clients reportedly include Sports Direct, Fraser Group, Massimo Dutti and Zara.
